Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health Center in Frisco, TX.

You will provide direct patient care to employees and dependents, with a schedule Monday–Friday 6:30am–6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30am–12:00pm, at a facility focused on preventive and occupational health.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse with active state license.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health or ED settings.
• Current BLS certification required, hands-on training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Document medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, specimen collection per orders.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and a safe clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by clinical leadership.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Frisco, TX. The scheduled hours areMonday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice


• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders


• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures


• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records


• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school


• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required


• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required


• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
