Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Health Center in Ocala, FL. You will provide direct patient care to employees and dependents, and support the clinic with administrative tasks.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm. The role balances clinical duties (80%) with administrative responsibilities (20%), including patient rooming, triage, vitals, phlebotomy, procedures, referrals, workqueues and front-desk support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN-accredited program with an AS degree or equivalent.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational health, or ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Document medical tasks including meds, wound care, specimen collection per orders.
• Maintain equipment, environment, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date patient health records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Ocala, FL.

The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday 8a-5p.

• Join a supportive, tight-knit team in a very busy clinic with the opportunity to work alongside multiple providers.
• 80% clinical / 20% administrative role with varied responsibilities including patient rooming, triage, vitals, phlebotomy, procedures, referrals, workqueues, and front-desk support.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
