Job summary

Premise Health's Orlando Health Center is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to client employees and dependents in Orlando, FL. The shift pattern is 4x10 hours, 7:00a–5:30p, at our on-site health center.

You will perform and document medical tasks, maintain records, and ensure infection control with supervision from healthcare providers. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to all full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida with current license.
• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; AS degree or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational health, or emergency department settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaborates with healthcare providers within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, specimen collection as ordered.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains and updates patient health records and performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Orlando, FL.

Schedule:

• 4 10-hour shifts
• 7:00a - 5:30p

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
