Premise Health Inc. is hiring a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse at our Health Center in Bristol, TN. The role requires careful patient care, blood draws, and strong phlebotomy and front desk skills, with occupational health experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited program with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care providers.
• At least three years of clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health or emergency dept.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within scope of practice.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect specimens per orders.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection control and a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and charting.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Bristol, TN. The scheduled hours are 34 hours per week, Monday & Wednesday, 7am-6pm, Tuesday & Thursday, 7am-1pm, and Friday, 7-11am. Enjoy great work/life balance while using your strong phlebotomy and front desk skills. This role includes a high volume of blood draws. Occupational health and Epic experience a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
