Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Health Center in Frisco, TX. You will provide direct patient care to client employees and dependents, under supervision, with a schedule Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm and Saturday 7:30am-12:00pm.

You will document treatments, manage meds and wound care, maintain records, and ensure infection control. A minimum of 3 years' LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory or occupational health settings is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited program with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Currently licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Minimum three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory/occupational health or ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision and within scope.
• Document medical tasks including meds, wound care, specimen collection.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and safe environment.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Frisco, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm.

What You'll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
