Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to client employees and their dependents at our Health Center in Pella, IA.

Clinic hours and on-call as needed for two nearby sites; RN coverage on an as-needed basis during clinic hours. This role offers competitive pay and benefits including a 401(k) match, wellness program, EAP, and access to virtual primary care and behavioral health for team members and dependents.

Qualifications

• Licensed in state of practice as LPN/LVN.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
• At least three years of clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational health, or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of health care providers.
• Perform and document medical tasks including medication administration and specimen collection.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and clean, safe environment.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Pella, IA.

Schedule

• RN as needed during clinic hours for 2 Nearby Sites
• Clinic Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Thu 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
