Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct clinical care to employees and dependents at our Maryville Health Center.

You will work under supervision of providers within scope of practice, supporting preventive care and urgent needs. Requirements include an AS degree or equivalent, active LPN license in Tennessee, BLS certification, and at least three years in ambulatory, occupational health, or ED settings.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN nursing license active in state of practice (Tennessee).
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational health, or ED settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within scope of practice.
• Perform and document medical tasks: medication administration, wound care, specimen collection per orders.
• Maintain equipment, ensure clean, safe environment, follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN.

Schedule:

• PRN as needed to cover PTO and Sick time.
• Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00a - 6:00p.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
