Job summary

Premise Health in Orlando, FL is hiring a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to client employees at our Health Center. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills and specific hours totaling 11 per week (Wed 7am-12pm, Thu 7am-1pm).

New grads are welcome to apply. The job emphasizes direct patient care, documentation, infection control, and maintaining health records in a collaborative setting with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program.
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice.
• Current certification with hands-on training in BLS (AHA/ARC or equivalent).
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaborates under supervision with healthcare providers and within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and collects specimens as ordered.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.
