Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care to client employees in our Health Center in Tampa, FL. The schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

The LPN will perform direct patient care, document medical tasks, maintain infection control, and support healthcare providers under supervision, contributing to a safe and efficient health service for Premise Health members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program.
• Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
• Hands-on BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required.
• At least three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaborates under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Performs and documents medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, observations of treatment reactions, and specimen collection per provider orders.
• Maintains medical equipment and ensures a clean, safe environment with proper infection control.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
