Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Health Center in Cleveland, NC. The role supports direct patient care under supervision and requires an LPN/LVN license in the state, plus CPR/BLS certification and ambulatory care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited program with an Associate's degree or equivalent
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in state of practice required
• Hands-on Basic Life Support certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required
• At least three years of clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health or ED

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection per provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean, safe environment and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information
• Performs other duties as assigned

As a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Cleveland, NC.

The scheduled hours are:

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
