Job summary

Premise Health in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care at our Health Center for employees and dependents.

You will perform medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection under provider orders, while maintaining accurate health records and a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program.
• Currently licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent).
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Perform and document medical tasks including medication administration and wound care.
• Observe reactions to treatments and collect specimens as ordered.
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain patient health records with accuracy.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Hamilton, OH.

Schedule

• 30 - 40 Hours Per Week
• Flexibility to Build Schedule During Clinic Hours (4-10's or 5-8's)
• Clinic Hours: Mon 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; Tue 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; Wed 7:00 am - 6:30 pm; Thu 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
