Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care to client employees and their dependents in Health Centers located in Vance and Tuscaloosa, AL.

The scheduled hours are Tuesdays 7:00 AM–5:30 PM at the Tuscaloosa clinic and Thursdays 7:30 AM–5:30 PM at the Vance clinic. You will be part of a collaborative, patient-centered team, performing direct patient care and documenting medical tasks under provider supervision, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean,

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited program with an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required.
• At least three years of clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under supervision of healthcare providers and within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, observing reactions to treatments, and specimen collection per provider orders.
• Maintains medical equipment, keeps a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Centers located in Vance and Tuscaloosa, AL.

The scheduled hours

Tuesdays: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM at the Tuscaloosa clinic, Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM at the Vance clinic

• Be part of a collaborative, patient-centered team where you'll play an essential role in supporting providers and ensuring smooth clinic operations from patient check-in through checkout.
• Experience variety in your workday while maintaining consistency in your schedule, caring for patients with a range of needs across two established clinic locations.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
