Job summary

AAA Northeast in Massachusetts is launching an opportunity for a Field Insurance Agent. You will receive paid training, licensing support, and career growth as you help members with personal lines insurance across phone, online, and in-branch interactions.

Upon licensing, you will propose coverage options, build a client base, and collaborate with underwriting and QA to ensure accurate quotes and smooth policy issuance while leveraging the CRM for lead management and referrals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales or customer service experience.
• Insurance sales experience preferred.
• Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred.
• Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 days required.
• Life License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments
• Work with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposures
• Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority
• Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients
• Services new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies
• Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and to broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and services
• Gain knowledge of the AAA Northeast membership and its benefits to be able to offer and sell to clients
