AAA Northeast in Narragansett, RI invites you to start an Insurance Career as a Field Insurance Agent. You will complete licensed training, work with members across branches, and build a base in Personal Lines with licensing costs covered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales or customer service experience.
• Insurance sales experience preferred.
• Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred.
• Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 Days Required.
• Life License Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online.
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data.
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs.
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system.
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents.
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments.
• Work with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposures.
• Gtain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority.
