AAA Northeast in Haverhill, MA is seeking a Field Insurance Agent to sell personal lines insurance products to members via phone, online, and in-branch interactions. Training and licensing are provided, with costs covered, and a path to licensed status once hired.

The role emphasizes developing leads, meeting sales goals, and delivering top‑notch member service. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate's degree preferred, and licensing within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years Sales or customer service experience required.
• Insurance sales experience preferred.
• Outbound or cold‑calling experience strongly preferred.
• Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 Days Required.
• Life License Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online.
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data.
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs.
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system.
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents.
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments.
• Work with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposures.
• Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority.
• Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients.
• Services new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies.
• Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and to broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and services.
• Gain knowledge of the AAA Northeast membership and its benefits to be able to offer and sell to clients.
