Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Field Insurance Agent in Massachusetts to lead personal lines sales after completing comprehensive training and licensing. You will engage members in branches, by phone and online, building trusted relationships and delivering tailored insurance proposals.

This role emphasizes sales vigor, product knowledge across Life and Personal Lines, and adherence to underwriting and payment processes, with strong growth and earning potential within a supportive AAA team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's Degree preferred
• 2+ years Sales or customer service experience required
• Insurance sales experience preferred
• Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred
• Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 Days Required
• Life License Preferred

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments
• Work with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposures
• Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority
• Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients
• Services new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies
• Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and to broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and services
• Gain knowledge of the AAA Northeast membership and its benefits to be able to offer and sell to clients
