Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks licensed Professional Engineers to lead business development for materials testing, special inspection and geotechnical services. You will both sell and engineer—review data, seal reports, and manage client relations while coordinating with our laboratory team.

Expect to travel to client offices and job sites; base salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 plus revenue share based on performance and licenses.

Qualifications

• Active PE license in civil/geotechnical/structural or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
• Track record of bringing in work or credible plan to do so in this market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients in materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities to signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on won projects: review data, seal reports/letters, coordinate with lab testing.
