Qualifications

• Active PE license in civil/geotechnical/structural or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
• Proven ability to price, scope, and write proposals and secure contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on winning projects: review field/lab data, seal reports/letters.
• Direct technicians and inspectors; coordinate with laboratory testing schedules.
• Represent the company at owner meetings, pre-construction meetings, and industry events.
