Qualifications

Active PE license (civil, geotechnical, or structural) in the posting state, or by comity within 90 days.
6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
Proven ability to bring in work or a credible plan to generate business; comfortable pricing and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a book of clients—general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms—for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
Serve as engineer of record on won projects: review data, seal reports, and coordinate with lab scheduling.
Direct technicians and inspectors on projects and represent the company at meetings and industry events.
