Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks licensed Professional Engineers who are comfortable selling testing programs and reviewing/ sealing geotechnical letters. You will carry a business development target alongside a technical workload, maintaining relationships and representing the company in Florida markets.

Qualifications

Active PE license in Civil/Geotechnical/Structural, or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
Proven ability to bring in work or have a credible plan to do so.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
Serve as engineer of record on won projects: review data, seal reports/letters; coordinate with lab on testing schedules.
Direct technicians and inspectors on projects and coordinate with the laboratory.
Represent the company at owner meetings, pre-construction meetings, and industry events in the market.
