Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to plan and administer treatment plans that relieve pain, restore function, and promote patient health. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve as a clinical resource and instructor for staff and students.

The role requires an OT license, a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, and BLS certification; you’ll support patients across our care network and participate in program development and outcomes evaluation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Illinois.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistance as needed from bed, chair and floor.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Assesses for, creates, modifies, fits custom splints/orthotics.
• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine physical therapy diagnoses and plan of care.
