Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in good standing (IDFPR).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Designs an appropriate plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Assesses for, creates, modifies, fits custom splints/orthotics.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and plan of care.
• Screens patients to determine need for additional therapy services and available support.
