Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to plan and administer treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and restoring function. You will serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students, delivering professional OT services with empathy and expertise.

Responsibilities include designing care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the medical team. This role requires licensure, BLS, and a patient-centered approach within our health network.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers OT treatment plans to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Designs care plans, monitors progress, and adjusts treatment based on response.
• Creates and fits custom splints/orthotics as needed.
• Educates patients, families, and providers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnoses and plan of care.
• Performs examinations with reliable methods and maintains documentation.
• Mentors students and staff; participates in team and department activities.
• Ensures safety, professional conduct, and patient-centered care.

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Occupational Therapy (Required)
