Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will plan and administer treatment to alleviate pain, restore function, and promote overall fitness and health, while serving as a clinical resource for staff and students.

Responsibilities include designing care plans, educating patients and families, performing assessments, documenting care, coordinating with the medical team, and mentoring clinical learners.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) – Illinois IDFPR; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – AHA.
• Bachelor s Degree: Occupational Therapy (Required)

Responsibilities

• Designs an appropriate plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, and other health care providers using relevant teaching methods.
• Performs examinations, assessments, and determines physical therapy diagnoses and plan of care.
• Maintains documentation according to department and practice standards.
