Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to plan and administer treatment plans to alleviate pain, restore function, and promote fitness and health. The OT will serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students.

Responsibilities include designing care plans, safe patient transfers, education for patients and caregivers, and ongoing collaboration with the health care team across clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) - IDFPR
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers with assistance as needed and uses safe body mechanics.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care, integrates goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Communicates with the medical team and performs documentation per standards.

Bachelor's Degree: Occupational Therapy
