Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Team Lead to deliver outstanding customer service, manage key optical & lab processes, and lead store success. You will guide staff, assist customers with eyewear choices, and ensure accurate optical measurements and repairs where applicable.

The role requires a valid state Opticianry license, strong communication, and leadership abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality eyewear and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED
• Current & valid state Opticianry license
• Strong optical & retail experience
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise
• Strong communicator & listener
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Sales skills
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators
• Leadership & training experience
• Edging & mounting experience
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service to customers & patients.
• Assist customers with selections, give recommendations, and support sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In lab: custom fits glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Ensure optical standards and customer requirements are met.
• Maintain a safe working environment and routine lab tool upkeep.
