Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Licensed Team Lead in California to deliver exceptional customer service and manage key optical and lab processes. The role covers lenses, fittings, and customer guidance in a busy store environment.

The position requires an active state Opticianry license, strong communication, and leadership abilities with a focus on accuracy and outstanding service. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license required.
• Strong optical theory & merchandise knowledge preferred.
• Retail sales experience and customer service skills required.
• Leadership and training experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service.
• Proactive & solution driven, accurate execution & product knowledge.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In Lab: custom fits, place prescriptions in lenses, ensure optical standards.
• Strengthen colleagues' knowledge and skills for lens and lab tech.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements.
• Create a safe working environment and maintain lab tools & systems.
