Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team in a dynamic retail environment. You will work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished products meet our optical standards with precision.

You will mentor staff and act as a keyholder, opening/closing the store and guiding day-to-day operations while fostering a positive, productive culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a dispensing optician license where required or be ABO-certified.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with supervisor responsibilities.
• Passion for eyewear and retail with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants.
• Open/close the store as a keyholder and manage daily operations.
• Assist customers with eyewear needs, measurements, and fittings with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Maintain store systems and inventory to Warby Parker standards.
