Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals. As a leader and keyholder, you will open/close the store and mentor opticians and retail advisors while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will guide optical duties, assist customers with eyewear needs, explain prescriptions, and maintain store systems and inventory to ensure flawless service.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states, with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can break down technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and mentor Optical team and manage store operations and inventory.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture on the sales floor.
