AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will help patients select frames and lenses, ensure proper fit, and perform precise dispensing while maintaining high standards of service.

The role emphasizes accurate prescription interpretation, patient education on care and warranties, and coordination with optical team to deliver timely orders.

Qualifications

• State licensure as an Optician is required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories to fit prescription, lifestyle, and style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing with accuracy.
• Educate patients on eyeglass and contact lens care, warranties, and care plans.
• Interpret prescriptions and input data into EHR/ALE systems and coordinate with technicians and doctors.
