This role blends technical precision with outstanding customer service, requiring knowledge of lenses, coatings, insurance benefits, and compliance.

Qualifications

• State Licensure required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• HIPAA familiarity preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Customer service and sales experience.
• Dexterity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert eyewear solutions and patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings to fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit and accurate lens dispensing.
• Take and verify measurements; ensure correct lens options.
• Enter prescription information into EHR/ALE systems and document accordingly.
• Educate patients on lens options, care, warranties, and insurance.
• Collaborate with technicians and doctors to resolve issues and complete orders.
