Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our Seattle team. You will help customers meet eyewear needs, take measurements, and ensure frames meet optical standards with accuracy.

You’ll explain prescription terminology and products, collaborate with teammates, and guide customers to the best frames and lenses for their lifestyle. A passion for eyewear and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Demonstrated passion for eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear and effective communication, able to explain technical terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Compliant with LEIE and eligibility for employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs with expert guidance.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with precision.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer specs.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options clearly.
• Collaborate with team to share best practices for sales and service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face, and lifestyle.
