Warby Parker in Miami seeks skilled Opticians to join our in‑house optical team, delivering exceptional customer service and expert eyewear guidance. You’ll become fluent in our brand and glasses, helping customers see clearly and feel confident in their choices.

A licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified professional, you’ll take measurements, fit eyewear, explain prescription terminology, and collaborate with teammates to uphold our optical standards and brand values.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond for customers and teammates.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to learn.

• Not on the LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Check that eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate to form best practices for sales and customer service.
• Represent our brand to educate others and promote our values.
