Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team, delivering extraordinary customer service and expert eyewear knowledge. You will take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet our high standards while explaining prescription terms to customers.

As a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states), you will help customers choose frames and lenses that fit their prescription, face, and lifestyle, while collaborating with teammates to

A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service.
Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
Collaborate to form best practices for sales and customer service.
Represent our brand to educate others and share Warby Parker values.
