Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optician to join our in-house optical team. You’ll guide customers through measurements, fittings, and selections to ensure precise, stylish results aligned with prescription needs and lifestyle.

As a licensed dispensing optician (ABO certification where required), you’ll explain terminology clearly, collaborate with the team, and uphold Warby Parker’s standards of service and care for every guest.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO certification is preferred for non-licensing states.
• Strong communication and product knowledge of eyewear.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional service.
• Assist customers in choosing frames and lenses based on needs.
