Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care on-site in Taunton, MA. You will help patients select frames, ensure correct measurements, dispense lenses, and maintain accurate records in the EHR/ALE systems while delivering top-tier service and support.

In this role, you will stay current with products, lens types, and insurance plan details, while collaborating with technicians and doctors to ensure timely orders and patient

Qualifications

• State licensure is required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience is required.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR/ALE system and document patient charts.
• Provide outstanding customer service and explain lens and product options.
• Educate patients on insurance benefits and coverage.
