Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our team of in-house optical experts. You will help customers see better by fitting eyewear, taking precise measurements, and explaining prescriptions with clear language.

You’ll partner with a collaborative team to ensure exceptional service and guide customers to the best frames and lenses for their needs. We value licensed dispensing opticians (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) who are detail-oriented, energetic, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in licensed states (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail with clear communication skills.
• Able to explain prescription terminology to customers clearly.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to delight customers and teammates.
• Energetic, positive team player who adapts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face, style, and lifestyle.
• Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the org.
• Represent Warby Parker and educate customers about our values and mission.
