Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to assist customers with eyewear needs, measure and fit frames, and ensure each piece meets optical standards. You’ll explain prescriptions and options, helping customers choose frames and lenses based on fit, style, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license.
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Clear, professional communicator who can explain terms to customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements; adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check eyewear against optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit and style.
• Contribute to sales and service best practices across the organization.
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker values.
