Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help people see while delivering exceptional service. You’ll become an expert in our brand and glasses, assist customers from fitting to prescription explanations, and collaborate with a motivated team who values care and growth.

You’ll use your licensing/ABO certification, strong communication, and eye for detail to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction, while promoting Warby Parker’s mission and education

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in licensing states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective communicator.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to continual learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Help customers meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Verify eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Work with the team to form best practices for sales and customer service.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate others about its values.
