Warby Parker is seeking skilled opticians to join our in-house optical team in a store opening, delivering exceptional customer service and eyewear expertise. You will help customers see, take measurements, and ensure accurate fit, while explaining prescriptions and products with clarity.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain technical terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit and lifestyle.
• Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent Warby Parker to educate others and convey our values and mission.
