Qualifications

• State Licensure required or eligible in Massachusetts.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• Proficient PC skills with MS Office.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories that fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Explain products, warranties, and services to patients.
• Update patients on order status and resolve issues.
• Enter prescriptions into EHR/ALE; maintain patient charts.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, insurance, and coverage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice.
• Communicate with technicians and managers to streamline orders.
