Warby Parker seeks skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team, delivering exceptional customer service and expert eyewear fitting.

You’ll measure, adjust, verify prescriptions, and explain terminology while upholding brand standards. A licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician in applicable states or ABO-certified where required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to share best practices for sales and service.
• Assist customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style and lifestyle.
• Represent Warby Parker brand and educate customers about values and mission.
