You will work with customers to meet eyewear needs, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure every piece meets our standards. You will explain prescriptions and guide frame selection, while collaborating with the team to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player who adapts in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and capable of juggling many responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to learn.
• Not on the LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check eyewear against optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Contribute to sales and customer service best practices across the organization.
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker values and mission.
