Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house team and help customers see clearly with our eyewear. You will take measurements, fit eyewear, verify accuracy, and explain prescription terminology to shoppers while delivering extraordinary service.

You must be a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states). The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and helping customers choose frames that fit their prescription, face, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Clear, professional communicator who can explain technical terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented and a strong team player who can adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Collaborate with team to develop best practices for sales and service.
