Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Manager to lead the Delray Place store’s optical team. You will coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure eyewear meets precise standards and prescriptions. You’ll drive performance, service quality, and engagement daily on the floor.

With a focus on development, you’ll mentor staff, manage scheduling, and participate in programming like the Optician Apprentice Program. You’ll uphold policy and empower a safe, customer-first culture in-store.

Qualifications

• Licensing as a dispensing optician as required by state law (or ABO certification where applicable).
• Proven leadership experience managing an Optician team on the floor.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical terms clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Opticians on the sales floor to provide exceptional eyewear experiences.
• Take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished products meet optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Oversee staffing, development conversations, and apprentice programs with Store Leader.
• Maintain store systems, inventory data, and overall store operations.
