Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our growing in‑house optical team and play a key role in helping people see. You’ll become an expert in our brand and glasses, delivering outstanding customer service that leaves customers excited and confident about their eyewear.

From taking measurements and fitting eyewear to explaining prescription terminology, you’ll collaborate with your team to share best practices and uphold our high standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO certification is required.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to help customers and teammates.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to juggle responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to learn continually.
• Not on the LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to provide exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Contribute to best-practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
• Represent Warby Parker and educate customers about our values and mission.
