Job summary

Warby Parker in Miami is seeking a licensed optician to join our in-house optical team. You’ll take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet our standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll help customers choose frames, explain lens options, and work with teammates to share best practices. This role emphasizes detail, communication, and brand representation in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
Energetic, positive team player with strong customer service focus.
Able to explain prescription terminology clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and provide expert fittings.
Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service across store.
Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the organization.
Represent the brand and educate customers about Warby Parker values.
