Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care on site. You will assist patients with frame and lens choices, ensure accurate measurements, and dispense prescriptions with a focus on quality and satisfaction.

You will oversee order status, communicate clearly with patients, and collaborate with technicians and clinicians to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• State Licensure.
• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office and Windows.
• Strong organizational & communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales experience.
• Manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience with tailored eyewear recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings per prescription and lifestyle.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE and maintain accurate documentation.
• Verify fit, adjust eyewear, and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Provide product education on insurance benefits, warranties, and care.
• Coordinate with technicians/doctors to manage orders and status updates.
