Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Maintain Optical license where licensure is required.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to present clear information and respond to questions from managers, associates, and customers.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze financial reports.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO and NCLE Certified.

Responsibilities

• Drive profits, sales and performance per NVI standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure store associates deliver the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain awareness of same day service using a production board.
• Report to General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office as required.
• Liaise with doctors and store personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee store promotions, advertising and visual merchandising.
• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales Associates.
• Assist General Manager with staffing and recruitment.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
