National Vision seeks an Assistant Manager for Eyeglass World to oversee daily operations, coach a team, and ensure outstanding eye care and shopping experiences. You’ll drive sales, manage staffing, and collaborate with doctors and corporate teams to uphold brand standards.

You will supervise Optician/Sales staff, balance promotions with store volume, and maintain Ready When Promised workflows, while delivering exceptional customer service daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales with supervisory duties.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.

Responsabilités

• Drive and achieve profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure all store associates deliver the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain awareness of same day service using the Ready When Promised board.
• Communicate with GM, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors; act as liaison between doctor and staff.
• Ensure promotions and visual merchandising are in place and known by staff and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales Associates; ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Assist GM with staffing to match store volume; participate in recruiting and retention.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• Some locations may require licences/credentials for certain duties.
